I grew up in Breckenridge, Colorado where I started racing mountain bikes in high school before quickly getting into road cycling. I still try to get out on the mountain bike a couple times a month and do a few race here and there.

In 2010 I graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. While at DU I raced with the Cross Country Ski Team and we won the NCAA National Championships in 2008.

After finishing 3rd in the U23 national championship time trial I joined the Slipstream Sports development team and rode with them for two while also participating in several trips with the national team to Europe and South America. In those two years I learned heaps about racing at the higher levels of the sport. After graduating from the espoir ranks I joined my first pro team, V Australia, where I learned a whole new language (Australian) and spent some time down under racing with the team.

While not riding my bike I enjoy spending time outdoors and have found a new love in cooking inspired by one of my college roommates. I try to get out on the alpine skis a couple times a winter and still enjoy the occasional cross country ski when the mercury drops.
